Hello and welcome

This website is for me to share about my work in Malawi, mainly working for the people with special needs and the elderly widows in villages around Nkhoma area, Central Region in Malawi. Some groups are formed and called as Chisomo (grace) Special Needs and Mtendere (peace) Agogo (grannies).

The Chisomo group meets three times a week to develop some skills mainly for the disabled so that they can eventually support themselves in the future with their learnt skills, such as sawing, tailoring, tinsmith work, art work, music, pottery, as well as Bible studies for their spiritual growth.

For all the groups we started some development projects, such as goat and pig keeping, baking, and vegetable gardening. The groups are very much motivated and all participants are enthusiastic, because any little change to their current situation brings a positive challenge and a hope for their families and the communities since they suffer from lack of recources, skills, medical and educational support and many a times lack of food.

The photos on the following web pages are used with the consent of the people for the purpose of sharing about what is happening and what we are doing here together. Thus it should not be misused by anyone in respect to the people of Nkhoma and the area around.
